Aquila Nylgut Strings for Soprano Ukulele

Until the middle of the 20th century, ukuleles were exclusively strung with gut strings, a material that was used for thousands of years and combines an excellent response with a brilliant tone colour.  Nylgut is a synthetic product with the same acoustic characteristics. but without the disadvantages of gut strings (high costs, limited durability and instability in a changing climate).
