The critics are unanimous: The music of Viviane Kudo and Jo Schultz is “penetrating, intense, beautiful”. The two present their “poignant songs, that go beyond zeitgeist and narrow-gauge thinking”, and they do so in a “sensitive manner and with powerful voices”.
After many concerts in Germany and abroad and a small stage break in 2015, Viviane Kudo and Jo Schultz are now introducing their fourth CD, “Little Detours”. The melancholic background mood of their songs remains, but everything else seems to be sunnier. Even the lyrics of these singular and also genuinely gorgeous musical gems refer more to life and love in the here and now and less on the pain of what no longer is.
