The second album of the young guitar virtuoso was awaited with bated breath. In 2001 he recorded it with his usual sense of perfection in a brief studio session. In includes 16 cuts, again four by Joscho himself, once again his father Günter is playing rhythm guitar and Max Schaaf is on bass. In addition to the fixed players, attractive sonorous colorings are added in some cuts by Sören Leyers (violin), Joachim Luhrman (percussion) and Peter Schmutter (harmonica). Joscho first held a guitar at the age of six. His father showed him his first chords and paved his sons way to a world filled with swing and wild dances on six strings. The super-father Django Reinhard is still present when it comes to gypsy swing. But Joscho’s stylistic openness, which he lives out to the max with his trio, is what keeps his eye on the future horizon. Without denying his past, he welds together the various styles and flirts with flowing Latin grooves and solid blues lines. A remarkable album by an exceptional guitarist.
