Every guitarist is familiar with the irritating problem of broken or torn fingernails. Players who don’t use picks, don’t want to stick pieces of table tennis balls to their nails, or wish to avoid the expense (and possible embarrassment) of regular visits to the manicure salon, can protect and strengthen their fingernails with this practical gel set, specifically made for the guitarist.
After briefly preparing the nails, the special gel is applied in several thin layers, each of which is hardened for a few minutes under an ultraviolet lamp. Detailed instructions are included.
The advantage of this system is that you don’t have to stick on conspicuous false nails, but simply build up a barely visible protective coating that prevents the nails from breaking or tearing. The natural playing feel and sensitivity of the fingers are unaffected. In our experience, one set of gel is sufficient to last a year or two, which means that the running costs are extremely low.
