With the release of “Changes In Life" saxophonist Klaus Graf, for many years an internationally sought after sideman, introduces the debut-CD of his Jazz Quartet. Graf has played with the SWR-Bigband and with Peter Herbolzheimer, has worked on stage accompanying Al Jarreau, Chaka Khan, Phil Collins and Phil Woods, and is a professor for jazz-saxophone in Nuremberg. “Changes In Life" offers a varied repertoire that includes soulful groove-tunes, fascinating melody lines and an overall ballad-like mood. Peter Herbolzheimer has waxed enthusiastic in light of the creative interaction amongst the members of the quartet: “When I listen to this CD I hear a group that is really playing together. Everyone is continually giving his utmost. There are any number of highlights – it really feels like a live performance. This CD makes me feel good, and I believe that whoever listens to it will feel the same way."
