Uwe Kropinski - American Dream

Uwe Kropinski is the guitarist who continuously reminds us that the instrument still has something to say.

His trademark is an absolutely inexhaustible sense of imagination, highly individual playing techniques and a personal style that remains unique to this very day in the guitar scene.And now, he has set the “American Dream” to music.In doing so, he has spanned the triangle made up of Frank Zappa (“Kong Kong”), John Coltrane (“Lazybird”) and Bill Evans (“Very Early”) and filled in the resulting spaces with a series of his own compositions. Once again, one wonders while listening, how a guitarist can musically create such a concentrated sound and complex weave of melodies, chords and rhythm within a musically logical structure.
