Beda - Freakpop

Peter “Beda” Mayer won the youth competition “Prima la musica” three times. The talent, virtuosity and charm exuded by his performance clinched guitar competitions in Vienna, Velbert and, in 2005, the Osnabrück Open Strings Festival. Beda’s CD shows some intensive work with world-musical styles and movements that shuttle between Latin, funk and fingerstyle, jazz and experimental guitar music, all free of any obligations towards style.
