These two sought and then found each other: A fingerstyler and a flatpicker discovered their common love of roots music. Hallawell and Robin Kessinger, both from the USA, were experienced soloists and coveted workshop instructors, who had already scored numerous successes at famous competitions. Together, they rearranged profound compositions giving them a new and clear melodic language by intuitively complementing each other on their instruments and seamlessly switching harmonic and melodic lines back and forth.
