Michael Fix - Time Lines

This Australian guitar magician has showed up in a new outfit. From the tanned, curly-haired sunnyboy, to the white-haired musician in a jacket. You might be astonished at first glance. But no sooner have the first notes of the album sounded, than everything comes back: you can almost hear the Australian sun. Even in his ballads, it shines through with a positive impact.

Michael’s playing is noble, without a doubt.It grooves, and hits you straight in the legs and belly. Besides his own compositions, he also plays his favorite covers on “Time Lines”, in delightfully bouncy arrangements – as in his concerts. And he is by no means picky about his selections. He will do tunes by Toto, or from The Shadows. Having a good time is the main thing. And he does, and so does the listener.

And another cherry on top is the fact that Michael Fix proves to be a fair singer in pieces like “The Guitar Man” and “Water Of Love”.
