Jacques Stotzem's 18th album bears the title "Histoires sans mots", or "Stories without words". An album characterised by Jacques' very special style, which is perhaps best described as "melodic fingerpicking". This style, which he has grown particularly fond of, lets the strings of his guitar take the place of the voice to once again tell "stories without words" with this CD.

On this album, one discovers ten decidedly lyrical original compositions full of serenity, which perhaps also sometimes let a little nostalgia shine through - but which always bear witness to a boundless joy of playing that has always characterised Jacques' musical path. His new compositions also reflect the passion for the guitar that has never diminished in Jacques Stotzem over the years.
