Stephan Bormann / Tom Götze - Pearls

Tom Götze and Stephan Bormann are two journeyers who have known each other for years and whose paths have always crossed musically speaking. Following intensive collaboration and enthusiastically received concerts, they are now presenting their debut album “Pearls”.

Bormann & Götze play with great intensity, passion and dynamism, producing some wonderful, unique musical sounds. Their music is a riveting mix of concert pieces, pop and Nordic jazz. These two artists cloak well-known pop songs in new garb – their own compositions sound as if one might have heard them a long time ago. The two shuttle with surefooted stylistic know-how between melodies like “Beyond The Missouri Sky” and virtuosic magic on the strings. The bass and the guitar conduct a conversation and reference each other like yin and yang.
