This music book contains 13 pieces of music for acoustic steel stringed fingerstyle guitar in the tunings of EADF#BE, DADGAD, DADGAE and CGCGBD.
The music was composed by Danish guitarist and composer Finn Olafsson. The guitar pieces are all notated in both staff notation with left- and right hand fingering and in tablature (TAB).
The tablature may also be helpful for guitar players who mainly read staff notation because it shows exactly which choice of strings to play - as well as the fret position.
In 2011, the music was recorded by Finn Olafsson on his CD album ”Music From North Sealand” (Olafssongs OCD 057). On the original album the acoustic guitar was supported by other instruments such as keyboards, electric guitar, bass and percussion. Still, the recordings were based on the acoustic guitar compositions. The scores in this music book present these acoustic guitar compositions in precise accordance with the acoustic guitar recordings.
The enclosed CD contains the acoustic guitar tracks separated from the supporting instruments of the original “Music From North Sealand” CD album - making it easy to compare the scores with the recorded music.
