To Be Two - The Edge of Season

On their new CD the group To Be Two presents a wide-ranging collection of songs around the theme “the seasons”. Singer Christiane Weber and guitarist Eddie Nünning merge different styles and moods into new, yet, for them, typically distinctive arrangements. Jazz standards, as well as songs from Carole King, The Who, George Harrison, Tori Amos and, for the first time, their own compositions combine to create a “cycle of seasons” that has its own special kind of atmosphere. The works are partly temperate, partly powerful and unfold in subtle, groovy arrangements. Christiane Weber mesmerizes the listener with her incredibly versatile voice, underscored by Eddie Nünning’s almost orchestral-like nylon string fingering style.
